Customer story – Staklorez Buric

After starting as a small family business which operated from 1982, Staklorez-Burić d.o.o. company was established in 1992 and has since become a leader in glass processing sector. Headquarters are located in Pregrada, around 60 kilometers to the north from Zagreb. In 2008 the company moved to the modern and larger production facility of 2500 m2 to accommodate its growing glass processing business. Number of employees: 77

PRODUCTS/CUSTOMERS 

Product portfolio

Staklorez-Burić’s product portfolio includes: insulated glass for windows and façades and processed glass which are tempered and laminated, as required. They are used for production of: balustrades, shower cabins, glass doors and windows, mirrors, glass canopies, glass wall panels, glass flooring and stair threads, glass tables, windows and glass bells. They also produce less known glass products, such as: washbowl stands, pool fence glass panels, glass bridges or glass panels for bathrooms and staircases.  

Products that differ from others in the market

Staklorez-Burić constantly delivers high-quality products. Before laminating, CNC machining is performed. Moreover, all elements which are UV bonded are also being previously processed by CNC machines. Accuracy and precision are of key importance for them, as well as each single stage of glass processing which can lead to the highest quality of products. Laminated glass with integrated PDLC film (switchable glass) are their newest product.

Top clients

Top client makes about 3% of total annual earning. Staklorez-Burić offers a complete set of products for many different customers. Thanks to speed and flexibility company always meets agreed deadlines. During the corona virus the export was reduced and limited to Croatia and Slovenia, although some of their clients are also exporters. In that way the productes were exported. After the crisis, the situation was normalized.

The first Biesse (Intermac) machine

They acquired the first two machines from Biesse in 2018: Vertmax 2.6 and Master 30 and later also Master One, Master One C and another Master One.

Machining performed with Intermac technologies:

Edging, polishing and grinding. On demand they also perform engraving and boring.
